  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice)

  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Optional add-ins: chopped nuts, dried fruits, dark chocolate chips


1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, rolled oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

3. If desired, add any optional add-ins such as chopped nuts, dried fruits, or dark chocolate chips to the cookie dough and mix them in evenly.

4. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.

5. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingertips.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden and set.

7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
